Painting with photographs – (The great works of Marjolein Linders)

My family is full of creative spirits. For example my grandfather, he is the real Inspector Gadget, inventing many things to help him with his chores. Other examples are some of my cousins, who are musicians. One of my nieces is a photographer, and another one is an artist, as in Art. Her work is lovely, she paints, she draws with charcoal, she prints.. She does it all. A few of my favorites of her work are shown below.

 

The paintings series called “Cloud formation” gave me the idea to paint with photographs. Using a long shutter speed I created a few photographs that gave a vague impression of a scene as seen below.
