First Magazine Publication – National Geographic Viajes

My website is now over half a year old, and every now and then I receive an e-mail from people using my contact page. I love every single message I receive. Sometimes it’s a question about a camera or photo, and sometimes it’s just a nice note.

This month I am particularly happy, since National Geographic Viajes wanted to use one of my photos in their magazine!Β

National Geographic Viajes

National Geographic Viajes – July 2015 edition. TheΒ cover is not my photo, but inside there are two pages for my photo!

A big accomplishment for me, and a BIG complement to be selected. So I wanted to share this with you. πŸ™‚ It is the photo below of Castello Tamarit.

National Geographic Viajes

National Geographic Viajes – A two page publication for an article about the Costa Daurada.

Thank you for sharing in my passion for photography by following my blog!

Kind Regards,

Wow – congratulations, Tieme! Great accomplishment, and also well deserved! Looking at the picture I can see why they wanted to have it included in their magazine – it really makes you want to be at this little beach and dip your toes into the water, and the colours are just gorgeous!

      Hi Kiki!

Thank you very much for your kind words! I am flattered!

It was a big honour, especially since I am not the best photographer around. But yeah, remembering the heat, the sun, the water.. I want to dip my toes in too πŸ˜‰

Thanks again, and have a wonderful Sunday!

      Warm regards,

Well, seeing as you’ve kicked my butt many times (and I’m grateful for that!) when didn’t say the best things about my photography, it’s my turn to kick yours! Because obviously it’s NOT true that you’re not the best photographer around – you got your picture published, what better way to be told you’re good!? So I hope you feel my kick right now πŸ˜‰

Haha, oh wow! Yeah, I can be a bit direct. This week I had a leadership training in a castle near Paris with many international colleagues. And as a Dutch guy I realized that I am quite direct.

Thank you for kicking my butt, I accept it and appreciate it πŸ˜‰ I guess you are right. Why else share it proudly?

Happy Sunday Kiki! You can stop kicking now πŸ˜‰
