Castle Loenersloot

The past weeks my posts were very technical. The subjects were among others about focal length, depth of field, hyperfocal distance, and the Nifty Fifty. Now it’s time for a post with nothing but pictures.

Castle Loenersloot

Castle Loenersloot, built in the 12th century.

The town I live in (Hilversum) is surrounded by lovely old villages. Within a radius of 50 KM you can find about 50 castles. On a foggy day, after work, I decided to photograph Castle Loenersloot, built around 1250 A.D.. What a rich history The Netherlands has! Enjoy these pictures of the heritage of the middle ages.

A Dutch description of the castle.

Castle Loenersloot Gardens

The trees in the castles garden are very lovely during foggy days.

Castle Loenersloot

Today, this castle is a private residence.

A path leads around the castle, for the passing people to admire it.

I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching.

Kind regards,

Tieme

Thank you Kate 🙂 The fog was fantastic! If it wasn’t for the fog, the photos would have been more ordinary…

      Kind regards,

That’s wonderful! I had a wonderfully productive weekend (house chores) 🙂

I am fine, thank you. Hope you too?

          Have a great week too!

          Cheers,
          TIeme

          • Yes, I am good thanks Tieme. Soon time for a small break from posting new poems for about a month or so. There is a time for everything. Right? 🙂

          • Thank you Tieme. I will be working on my music you see. I will still visit though. Reducing the pressure of being understood I guess. Just listening. It feels marvelous already. 🙂
